The Lemont Artists Guild will be sponsoring a hands-on watercolor painting opportunity at Heritage Fest, Saturday July 11th downtown Lemont. This painting event is fun for anyone, any age. Please come to the LAG tent and give watercolor painting a try!
"Pride of Lemont" Mural Dedication Sep. 12, 2009

The official unveiling of the "Pride of Lemont" mural celebrating the life and adventures of Lemont's 1930's flying ace, Rudy Kling, is set for September 12 at 3:00 p.m. The community is invited to attend the dedication of this Community Public Art Project. Mural was commissioned by Front Street Lofts, designed by the Art & Culture Commission, and painted with help from volunteers.

For a ghoulishly good time, join Lemont Historical Society members and storytellers in the Old Stone Church, 306 Lemont Street at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday October 27 as they spin tales of the supernatural from in and around Lemont. Visit the 1860 coffin--local lore has it that the inhabitant still haunts the Church and meet the famous Resurrection Mary.
